Mackenzie is currently based in Charlotte working for RVO Health on their FP&A team, supporting the largest health and well-being platform in the US. She started her career at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati working as the finance manager for two North American Feminine Care brands. After two years in Ohio, she relocated to Charlotte where she worked at Lowe's on the Merchandising Finance team, focusing on their Lawn & Garden department.

Mackenzie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and a minor in Business Administration. During her time at UNC, she served as the Philanthropy Chair for her sorority, Alpha Delta Pi, and spent six weeks studying abroad at the London School of Economics. Mackenzie is originally from Davidson, North Carolina. Outside of work, she enjoys playing pickleball, taking hot yoga classes, and exploring new restaurants in the city.
